Description
The painting you see is from Marmaris Safavieh collection. In this work, the artist has tried hard to preserve the authenticity of the Safavi school in his painting.
A waiting man, heir to the Safavid style, has almond eyes, thin eyebrows and delicate lips and nose. Holding his hands in his hands, he hides his left thumb as if he wants to hide his confusion, confusion and sadness of anticipation and maybe anxiety. The traces of his eyes that were waiting for him, his feet on his feet, everyone says that he has been standing there for hours! Waiting for what or who, God knows!
Like all Safavid men, he wears a long robe covered with gold. The shawl on his hand is the same color as the robe and hat he wears. Well, if we look at it with this particular cover, it seems that he met a stranger and these are the signs to recognize. The waiting table is full of calm color and light. The golden color of nature is mixed with the green robe and red shawl of this man and is full of tenderness and beauty.
One of the charms of this marble painting is that the piece of stone is placed in the right corner of the passepartout and is not placed in the center of gravity of the frame as usual.
